Happy New Year!

 Hello friends!  This is my first post for 2025.  I sure hope you all had a fantastic Christmas with loving family and friends.  I also wish for each and every one of you a very healthy and happy New Year. It seems to some, that 2024 was filled with a lot of uncertainty, and questions arose for a multitude of things. Personally, for me, 2024 was okay until October when my husband Dale had two strokes.  He's been through so much and he just recently came home two days after Christmas.  Having him home is a blessing for sure, but he still has a very long way to go.  He has in home health care now, and it's just the beginning of many more questions and concerns, with more things happening that have nothing to do with his strokes.  Our lives have changed; I will now be taking on the role of full-time care giver.  Needless to say, I will do my very best but I'm learning that one cannot take this role too lightly.  You change the time you get to shower, do laundry, talk to friends and as you can tell, I have not posted here since December 14th. It's going to be online shopping for items needed like groceries, with those being delivered since I can't leave the house much.  I thank God every day for my neighbors; I've had to call them once already and I'm learning it's ok to ask for help.  That's hard for me but I'm learning. I also thank God for my daughter and grand daughter, who took time out of their lives to come stay with us when he first came home. I don't know what I would have done had I been alone those first few days. God's blessings and grace are amazing! I am looking forward to Dale's healing and therapy progress and mysteries answered so he can enjoy his life. Here's to a safe, healthy New Year for everyone!
