This is my second post for today. As some of you may know, I've not been able to post on a regular basis due to my husband Dale's stroke. The good news is that he might be home by Christmas and that makes me very happy. It's just not the same in the house with him gone. He's been through a lot, so I will apologize now in case I am still missing a few days here and there.
But today, I have some really nice team cards to share with you. I had a virtual team meeting with my ladies in Arizona Saturday. I gave them all a team challenge. We had a tic tac toe board that included various items to use to make our project. Here's 3 of the cards that were shared.
Dina used the stamp set Coffee with Friends. She chose to watercolor her images using Copper Clay, Garden Green, Pool Party, Early Espresso and Gray Granite inks. The card base is Pretty Peacock with a layer of Fresh Fresia on Vanilla and watercolor paper. She finished it off with some of the pretty Faceted Gems Trio pack.
This happy birthday card was made by Jocyne. She used the dies from the Textured Florals bundle and her sentiment is cut using the Postage Punch. The embossing folder is retired I believe. I like that her card is simple and quick yet packs a great message.
Kathy made this thinking of you card and she used the Autumn Leaf and Peaceful Moments stamp sets. The Leaf Fall embossing folder is used as the background layer and the Modern Oval punch shows off the sentiment perfectly. Kathy used Pretty Peacock for her card base, with a layer of Basic White and Crumb Cake. Inks used are Pretty Peacock, Pecan Pie and Crushed Curry.
