A Paper Pumpkin Revival

Hello and welcome!  I hope you are having a great day wherever you are.  I also hope that you are safe from bad weather and fires.  It seems that several places in the country are still experiencing either a lot of rain, fires or just heat related issues.  I know it's hot here today, and a bit humid, but since I'm a transplant from Arizona, the temperature of 93 isn't too bad for us here.  Having said that though, I took some time out this weekend to bring out an old Paper Pumpkin kit called A Little Smile.  It's a kit from June 2019. Here's what I made with it:

I have a friend that orders cards from me and she wanted mini birthday cards and also just some blank note cards.  Because I didn't have enough card bases in my Paper Pumpkin kit, I used some colorful mini blank note cards that I had in my stash.  I bought several packs of these online a while ago (I think from Hobby Lobby) and they came in very handy for this project. I just added several pieces of ephemera that came in the Paper Pumpkin kit and created happy birthday labels using the ones in the kit.
These are the card bases that are in the A Little Smile Paper Pumpkin kit. Each card base has a beachy theme, and the ephemera pieces are perfect to add to them.  The starfish and sand dollar are in glittery paper, although it's hard to see in the photo.
A few other stamps from my stash and an old stamp bundle called Darling Labels (stamp set and punch) allowed me to create a focal point that is different from the others. A few retired gems in different colors and sparkle were added for interest.

If you are not a current Paper Pumpkin subscriber, feel free to check out my right side bar on this page. You can subscribe month to month and can suspend or cancel at any time.  I love getting my Paper Pumpkin every month; it's like my birthday or Christmas every time I see it in my mailbox. We do get a sneak peek each month, and I send that out in plenty of time for you to decide if you want to suspend for that month or not.  It's a winning combination and I have no doubt that you will enjoy the kit as much as I do each month.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Please leave me a comment because I would love to hear from you.
