Today is all about another great Sale-a-bration item that you can get free with a qualifying order. Sunny Days is full of bright, cheerful pages that contain flowers, cherries, strawberries, shapes and clouds. The paper is 12 x 12 so there's plenty of paper to get you in the crafting mood. This set of papers coordinates with the Bright Skies Bundle found on page 51 of our new Mini catalog. Here's my card:
Now I must admit, this design is not totally all mine. I saw a similar card by Patty Bennett and tweaked hers a bit. You can see Patty's card here: Embossed Vellum Sale-a-Bration Card Idea - Patty Stamps
She was a bit more detailed in her design, but I chose to have less on mine. I may use this as a future class card, so I wanted it to be easier for people to make.
My card base is Coastal Cabana because I thought the light green in the florals was close. I used Garden Green ink, both for the sentiment and the small flowers and leaves. The larger flower is stamped with Coastal Cabana ink on the same color cardstock. I also used the Petal Park stamp set in the annual catalog for the flowers, and the Layering Leaves stamp set for the sentiment. The piece of vellum is embossed with the Painted Posies embossing folder. I love how it just gives a delicate look behind the circle.
