Hello and happy Monday!
Today it's all about a beautiful background stamp called Fragrant Forest. The depth of this image is amazing. Just stamp it once, and you're looking at a forest full of gorgeous pine trees. You can add glitter on the trees and on the ground area, just like you would see if you were going cut down your own Christmas pine. Here's my card:
While I still had some Granny Apple Green and Shaded Spruce cardstock on my desk, I decided to continue that color scheme here. I simply stamped the image on Basic White and added the sentiment from the Festive & Fun stamp set, since it too, was still on my desk. For this card, I used Shaded Spruce for the card base, and added a layer of Cherry Cobbler around the image. This stamp set allows you to make many cards in a nice "assembly line". Just add your own embellishments, glitter or Wink of Stella to make the trees and the ground look like fallen snow. I didn't have time to do that, but I may make more of these and do just that.
Good news! Fragrant Forest is being carried over to the next mini catalog that will start in January. So if you like this stamp, you'll be able to get it after the Christmas holidays.
Thanks for stopping by today. Enjoy your week! I'll be back in a bit with one more Fragrant Forest card.
