I am participating in my first craft fair in my new hometown in October, so I've been working and creating a lot of things. I've been using a lot of retired designer series papers and stamp sets (finally) and it's fun to see what I "discovered" when I went looking for them. Some of the items brought back fond memories of the classes I had every month, when I lived in Arizona. But it's also very nice to get to use these again. Here's some of the projects I've been working on:
These 6 scalloped gift card holder boxes are a current item in our 2023-2024 annual catalog. They are absolutely the cutest! Inside is a gift card holder that has an angled back so that the gift card is visually attractive to the recipient. It even has 2 slots to hold the gift card so that it doesn't move around inside the box. Just 2 pieces of designer series paper for the top and bottom, and 4 pieces for all the four sides, makes these boxes come together in a snap. I decorated the tops with circles of various sizes, using some of our retired punches. The box holds together with ribbon on sparkly twine.
And these Christmas tea bag holders make a great little stocking stuffer or treat for someone They have 4 Twinings Christmas flavored teas inside. They close up like a little book and have a belly band that holds it together. I found the instructions for these online by Brenda Quintana. Here is the link for her blog. Qbees Quest - Designs by Brenda Quintana If you search her blog for Tea Bag Holders she has a video you can watch too.
I hope you've enjoyed my projects today. I can only share product links for a few items as most everything else is retired. However, you can make these projects with any items you have on hand. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. And if you don't already have a demonstrator and would like a copy of the new Holiday Mini catalog that starts on September 1st, please click on my link above to "request catalogs" and I'll be happy to get one in the mail as soon as I receive my shipment.
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day! Happy stamping!
