Hello and welcome!
I finally had a chance to play with a new bundle, Inked & Tiled. This bundle has a nice stamp set and a 2 punch pack. The designer series paper, called Inked Botanicals, is amazing. Bright colors with an array of great artist sketches. The floral images remind me of watching some of the artists in parks, using a pencil or charcoal to re-create the natural settings. Here's my first card:
Demonstrators have their own Facebook page and recently, I watched a live video of a 6x6 one sheet wonder class. The ladies had a very nice template where you cut the paper a certain way, and everyone made cards with the pieces. I challenged my team to come up with their own way of creating four projects with the layout. The 2 pieces of DSP are angle cut on the template, so I decided to lay these on a panel of Very Vanilla. I used the "swoosh" stamp to give it some interest, using Crushed Curry ink. This is the 2nd card from the layout. Here I had 1 large square and 2 smaller squares. The polka dot pattern is the back of the floral side. I used Flirty Flamingo ink to stamp the sketched flowers to bring out the very little Flirty Flamingo on the paper.
Next time I'll show you card # 3 and 4. I'm glad I got a chance to play with this bundle. Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy your July 4th celebration.
