There's nothing better for the soul than a close friend. Many times, we send cards for birthdays, anniversaries, thinking of you and other occasions. But I personally don't always remember to send a card to my friends, to let them know how much I appreciate them. Today's card fixes that.

Cheerful Daisies to the rescue (again). I'm really loving this suite of products in the new annual catalog. Take a peek at page 110 & 111 and you might agree. Daisies are such happy flowers and the designer series paper in this suite is perfect to brighten someone's day. A returning color, Pretty Peacock has always been one of my favorites, and the color peeks through this 2 inch strip. I embossed the Peacock layer with the Timeworn Type embossing folder, to give it just enough texture. The main stem and leaf image is stamped with Mossy Meadow and Old Olive. I stamped the daisy on a separate piece of basic white card stock using full strength Pretty Peacock and stamped off twice for the petals. I cut it out with the Cheerful Daisies dies and popped it up with dimensionals.
I'll be making more of these. I am blessed to have a lot of friends, and I need to remind them I love and miss them.
