Whale Done !

 Hello and welcome!

I must apologize for not being able to post in recent weeks.  As my 73rd birthday came this month, so did a bad knee.  I have no idea what happened. One day I was walking, and the next day I wasn't.  Well, let me be more specific.  I was walking, just not very fast. I guess that's what I get for all those walks around the lake with my neighbor. Seriously though, I'm much better and have had an x-ray and today I had a nuclear bone scan.  A pretty cool experience if I do say so myself.  It was kind of neat to see all those bones and all the arthritis everywhere you looked. 😉  I'm getting around much better today, so it's back into the craft room for me.  I have a lot to make up.

Here's a card I made a while back for my neighbor's grandson.  He has been working very hard to raise his grades and he was so successful, he earned a LOT of money.  We are so proud of him and I wanted to give him a little encouragement.

The Whale Done stamp set is in our current annual catalog on page 53.  There's a coordinating Whale Builder punch as well, on page 154.
If you like this set and think you may want it, you may want to order it now.  We have a new annual catalog starting May 3rd, and I am quite sure this is going to retire. It's been around for a while, so I can't guarantee it will be here after the new catalog launches.

I used the By the Bay 6 x 6 Specialty Designer Series Paper for the ocean.  That can be found in our current January-April 2023 Mini catalog on page 23. I don't know if this paper or the Seaside Bay Suite will be carried over to the new Annual catalog or not. Typically, most of what is in the Mini catalogs do retire, but sometimes they surprise us and carry over a stamp set and maybe some of the papers.

I hope you like my card today.  I will post more this week, but first, tomorrow is the launch day of the new catalog and a color refresh.  Being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator has its perks. We get to see the new catalog before it launches to everyone else. And this year, we will have some colors retire and some brand-new ones to add to the already outstanding colors that Stampin' Up! is known for.

If you're interested in joining in on all the fun, please consider becoming a part of my Desert Inkspirations team.  More information can be found on the Join link on the right side bar. You do not have to hold classes, but can join as a hobby demonstrator, and get great discounts on products you already love. Check it out and contact me with any questions.

In the meantime, happy stamping and I'll be back on Wednesday with more updates.
