Good Morning Magnolia x 2

Yesterday, I showed you the large magnolia in our Good Morning Magnolia stamp set.  Today, it's all about the little magnolia bud.  I love to see new buds on flowers, don't you?  They seem to be so full of life, just getting ready to open and expose all their full glory. I often buy flowers with a lot of buds, just so I can watch the progress.  Here's my card.

Using the same designer series paper, Magnolia Lane, I chose another striped pattern in Mossy Meadow and white.  If you look closely, you'll see that the white in this paper has a textured look.  I love that organic feel to it.  This blossom wasn't actually stamped; it was cut out from the designer series paper, using the Magnolia Memory dies. The only stamping done here was the sentiment and the magnolia blooms, stamped with Petal Pink but stamped off once, to create the light background. The sentiment was cut out using our Oval Framelits, as was the background layer, in Petal Pink card stock. A small piece of our Organdy Striped Ribbon, in Petal Pink, was tied into a bow and adhered using a couple of glue dots.  To finish it off, I used our gold Metallic Pearls.  Another quick card, taking almost no time at all.
