Stamp 'N Hop Blog Hop

Hi ! Welcome to the Stamp 'n Hop blog hop! My name is Bobbi and I'm stamping with you from sunny Arizona (US). This is my very first blog hop and this month, we are featuring some of our favorite items from the Occasions catalog (available until May 31, 2018).    I hope you enjoy my card, but be sure to follow along to all the other blogs, to see what they've created too! 

 One of my favorites is the Petal Passion Suite.  Black and white anything is so classy, in my opinion, and this set of papers, stamps and thinlits is certainly no exception.  I've paired this color combo with Berry Burst, a nice, bright pink from our 2017-2019 In Colors.  And that bird?  How cute is he? I stamped everything using Archival Black ink, then sponged the bird with daubers, in Crumb Cake and Cajun Craze inks.  The flowers were sponged with Berry Burst and Old Olive. The sentiment is a nice focal point, using the Pretty Label punch in the Annual catalog.  I also punched one out in Berry Burst, then cut it in half, and adhered it to the back of the white piece, so that it peeks out from behind. This gives a nice frame around the sentiment.
