Here's a few photos I thought I would share:
This is my little Christmas cheer area as you walk into my kitchen. That tree is hand made with a bazillion seed beads and it took me 3 years to complete it. I made it when my son was a wee lad, and now he's 43, so it's been around a very long time. Many of the ornaments were hand made, and the tree skirt was cross stitched. It has little twinkling white lights that are run by 2 small batteries, hidden inside a present at the base of the tree. A family heirloom, and my son just called me a couple of months ago and asked if he could have it (when it's "my time to go"), since he helped me string those beads. Of course, I said yes immediately. I had no idea our little craft time meant so much to him until now. (sigh)
Julie is a friend/customer who offered to cater our event. She just started her own baking and catering business, so this was a good time for her to "learn". It was fantastic! The food was delicious and everyone loved it. Great job, Julie!
Here's my group before we dug into the food. I think I had a total of 21 ladies attend. A great turnout and a record for me! So happy!
Yummy hot ham and cheese sandwiches, on King's Hawaiian rolls.
Baked from scratch: Snickerdoodle cookies, Christmas "crack", peppermint and peanut butter fudge
More baked goodies: Linzor cookies and sugar cookies
Sausage rolls and mini dogs in fresh baked bread.
Putting together our little pizza boxes. They had four 3 x 3 note cards and envelopes inside.
Lots of fun! Heavy discussion on the "Instant Pot"...Now we ALL want one!
Great conversations and meeting new friends!
What ARE they taking about? Note that my cat Angie, always has to be the center of attention. Love her though. She's a cutie!
Getting ready to see the new Occasions catalog and Sale-a-bration brochure.
More pizza box workers.
We all had such a great time. It's hard to believe that this year is almost over. Christmas is just about here, and soon we will be working on Valentine's Day projects and spring themed cards. Thank you so much for taking the time to check out my blog today. I wish you a very Merry Christmas, and a safe, healthy and Happy New Year. May God Bless each and every one of you. See you in January. Peace!
