Kathy's card (above) uses the Hexagon embossing folder and some retired SU card stock. Just look at the detail on those flowers. She was one of the first people to find me on my SU website, almost 7 years ago. We've been the best of friends ever since. And, she just joined SU as a demonstrator to help me earn the Alaskan Cruise in 2018. I am so lucky to have her in my circle of friends.
Christina is our "glitter girl". I love glitter too, and for someone who had no experience in stamping when we first met, she sure knows how to create some gorgeous things. Would you believe this is a napkin? She peels the layers apart, then uses adhesive sheets, places the napkin on top, and smooths it out. Then she adds the SU Heat and Stick powder, heats it up, adds glitter and heats it again. Just look at this beautiful result! The picture here does not do it justice; it's stunning in person.
I even received birthday cards from our own Shannon West who works at the Corporate office in Salt Lake City. And, Ruth Norton, who is a blog friend from Albuquerque NM sent me a card as well. Here they are:
Shannon has been making cards for just about everyone and had a goal to make 2000. I'm sure she has done so and look at how cute this is? Thank you Shannon, I love it !
Yes, friends....I am one lucky lady. I am so thankful for all my wonderful friends. I really do not know what I would do without them. Thank you all for making me feel so special!
